You cannot see the top of your own chimney, and that is exactly where the problems start. A chimney inspection gives you a clear picture of what is going on up there before it becomes an expensive surprise.
When people get an inspection
- Buying a home. Know what you are walking into before you close.
- Selling a home. Get ahead of anything a buyer's inspector will flag.
- After a storm. High winds and hail can crack crowns and lift flashing.
- Before using the fireplace. Make sure it is safe before the first fire of the season.
- You noticed something. A stain, a smell, or loose brick on the ground.
What we check
We look at the crown, the brick and mortar, the flashing, the cap, and the condition of the structure above the roofline. You get a clear report with photos of anything that needs attention, and an honest answer on what is urgent versus what can wait.
No pressure. If your chimney is fine, we will tell you it is fine. The inspection stands on its own.
